A.R. Rahman launches and praises music of the film 'Waah Zindagi'

MUMBAI: To get acknowledgement from your own guru is a big step. This is what happened when musical genius A R Rahman complimented his associate, Parag Chabbra, for five years for latter’s music for the new film Waah Zindagi, when he recently met with the cast and crew of the film and congratulated them for the successful launch of the film's music. 

Chabbra has been a part of the Padma Bhushan and two time Oscar award winner musician's team for Bollywood projects like Mohenjo-Daro, Sachin: A Billion Dreams, Mom, Highway and Ranjhanaa

Rahman said, "I have heard the music of the film and he (Parag) has done a commendable job on the arrangements, production and composition and I hope the audiences like it too."

The movie Waah Zindagi is based on the Make in India concept and depicts the fight of Indian manufactured products against their Chinese rivals through a love story. Rahman also congratulated on the story and subject of the movie and wished the team, "I want to wish Parag and the whole team of Waah Zindagi great success, happiness and joy." 

Parag Chhabra in the past has also worked on a few international projects, where he did background score for Emmy Award-winning Netflix documentary- Daughters of Destiny and music production for Viceroy's House where the music for both was composed by A R Rahman. 

Waah Zindagi features, featuring Sanjay Mishra, Vijay Raaz, Plabita Borthakur, Naveen Kasturia and Manoj Joshi. The film is written and directed by FTII alumnus Dinesh S Yadav and produced by Ashok Choudhary under the banner of Shivazza Films.

The film will be releasing in early 2019.
