MUMBAI: Breothers Amaal Mallik and Armaan Malik are going to be at war as big brother Amaal all set to debut as one of the judges of the music reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs, which will premiere tomorrow on Zee TV at 9 pm.
On being asked about his brother Armaan, who is also a coach (judge) on ongoing music reality show of StarPlus, The Voice Season 3, Amaal exclaimed, “Bada bhai toh bada hota hai. He is small, but mentally is like a 50-year-old. He has that patience and thinks before doing or saying things. I am a bit free, but I always speak the truth, while he will be diplomatic at times.”
He further added, “For first six months, we are going be rivals.”
“I will be very honest in the show. Many people might find that I am rude, but if you train kids from now, they will not do mistakes going forward that can be avoided now,” said Amaal about his honest ways, which we will get to see on the show.
On being asked if his music also honest like him, Amaal commented, “I think every relation in my life, be it with friends, family, even when I have been in love, all these things have translated into my music. So, a lot of people have managed to understand me better with my music. They know that a sensitive soul is behind me, else I couldn’t have made songs like Bol Do Na Zara, Main Rahoon Ya Na Rahoo. So, people know that he has that emotional side to his music also.”
Lastly, Amaal did leave a message for the kids, who are participating in Zee Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs 2019. He said, “Please don’t be nervous and sing from your heart. I know the stage is big and so is the platform, but like the world says, you get such a huge opportunity just once. But, this munch is there for you and if do not make to the top 10, it doesn’t matter, leave, train harder and comeback to this munch with a punch!”
Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs will start airing from tomorrow, every Saturday and Sunday at 9 pm on Zee TV. Singers like Shaan and Richa Sharma are the other two judges on the judging panel while Ravi Dubey will the host of the show.
