MUMBAI: Sanam Band has always entertained its audience with their own versions of old Hindi classics. The band's song Gulabi Aankhen’s, a rendition of the iconic Gulabi Aankhen has become the first non-label song to reach 100 million views on YouTube.

Commenting on the same, the band collectively says, “Being an independent band in India with no one but ourselves to promote our music, 100 million views seemed a farfetched dream. It feels like just yesterday we were so excited about getting 100 likes on our videos,” said Band Sanam.

They further said, “Every day we hear about horrible things that happen in our world that is fear and hate driven! We need to spread love! Our only source of communication is our music and every day we hope and pray that it touches a few more hearts and brings happiness and love to one more person! Knowing that just one of our many songs has touched over 100 million hearts just motivates us to work harder and make more music to fuel your hearts with love instead of hate!

Since its release, the song has been getting rave reviews from all across the world and we await the band to release some more songs.
