MUMBAI: In what has been the biggest race, the world has been waiting for, India’s number one music label, T-Series defeated world’s current topper PewDiePie, though for a brief period of eight minutes!
Well, if reports are to be believed, the historic short moment occurred on last Friday, when T-Series was ahead of PewDiepie by 2000 subscribers. As per social media analytics company, SocialBlade, it was YouTube’s routine audit on Friday, in which PewDiePie had lost 20,000 subscribers, thus to make way for T-Series’ victory for a mere short span of eight minutes. YouTube does this audit regularly to check for the authenticity of followers. With an option of T-Series’ and PewDiePie’s dedicated followers, nobody noticed this short-lived victory of T-Series, which is owned by Bhushan Kumar.
Well, this brief victory of T-Series over PewDiePie to become number one YouTube channel in the world, has given us hopes that the day is not far when India’s giant music label T-Series will be crowned as world’s number one YouTube channel by surpassing PewDiePie!
Meanwhile, T-Series has been spreading its wings and tasting unstoppable success in India. The music label has recently entered the digital space also.
