MUMBAI: After tasting success in the form his latest songs’ Kyun Rabba and Tum Na Aaye for the Bollywood film, Badla, Amaal Mallik has now recorded a 24 piece orchestra for one of the songs Chale Aana for the upcoming movie, De De Pyaar De.
Sung by Armaan Malik, the Live music arrangement of the song is done by their father Dabboo Mallik and music arranger Prakash Peters. This song, therefore, brings the Mallik trio together for the first time for a film song.
Speaking about his collaboration with his father, excited Amaal Mallik exclaims, “It was nostalgic as my father entered Yash Raj Studios, met all his musician friends after several years. It felt like the King has come back home.”
“He knew what I wanted as a composer and along with his team in about three to four hours they nailed the perfect arrangement for this song,” he further adds.
It is learnt that orchestrs comprising of musicians playing for Chale Aana have earlier played for legends like RD Burman, Jatin Lalit, Laxmikant Pyarelal, Nadeem Shravan as well as for Thoda Sa Pyaar Hua Hai , which is a popular song composed by Dabboo Mallik.
He further reveals, “Also, through the last one and half-two years, me, my team of music producers, my writer Kunaal, we’ve all been working for these two songs of DDPD.”
“I feel they will be one of my best songs this year,” he concludes.
Starring Ajay Devgan, Tabu and Rakulpreet Singh, De De Pyaar De is directed by Akiv Ali. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg, the movie is slated to release on 17 May 2019.
