Mumbai: One of the most awaited movies of 2019, Kalank, has been in news since the day of its inception. One of the fortes of Dharma Productions’ movies is the music track and Kalank’s album is no exception. The first track of the movie released was Ghar More Pardesiya was extremely well received and so was First Class, the song released next. However, the hook line of the title track heard in the teaser had every fan wait for its release. The wait is over as the title track is released and the song lives up to the expectations.
A haunting melody sung by the king of melody, Arijit Singh and the soulful Shilpa Rao, is pictured beautifully on Roop and Zafar played by Alia Bhat and Varun Dhawan respectively. Composed by the maestro Pritam and penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya, the song reverberates long after you are done listening to it. The video of the song gives a vague idea of the story line. What sets the song apart is the original melody with a poignant vibe, a rarity in today’s overtly techno and remixed songs. Victims of heartbreaks can swear by this song!
