MUMBAI: National Award winning singer Shashaa Tirupati will soon be coming out with the cover version of O Pardesi, a song from Dev D. The cover is produced, arranged and sung by Shashaa herself and will be released soon on her YouTube channel.   

On being asked, how she manages to multitask, Shashaa Tirupati says, “I am quite hyped about putting my production out here. The hustle keeps you occupied and helps you get creative. You are constantly keeping your mind busy, and start looking at things differently. I can’t even express what it feels like.”

“Song O Pardesi would be about a girl who is waiting for her guy,” further adds Tirupati on the track.

Shashaa is currently on a musical high with several upcoming projects in her kitty apart O Pardesi cover. Shashaa's Telugu song Prapanchame Alaa from Jersey, composed by Anirudh Ravichander, is doing extremely well.

She has also crooned a Marathi song Lagliya Godi Tujhi for Marathi film Kaagar, which is doing really well.

Shashaa is known in Bollywood for singing tracks like Humma Humma from OK Jaanu, Baarish from Half Girlfriend, Hawa Hawai from Tumhari Sulu, Kanha from Shubh Mangal Savdhaan among others.

She has her original singles lined up out among which one is with Mohan from Agni. The singer also has a Marathi song from the upcoming movie Pani which is directed by Adinath Kothare.
