MUMBAI: Popular rapper Badshah has collaborated with Sony Yay’s! show KickO & Super Speedo to create their catchy track Go Kicko.

"When Sony Yay! approached me for the song, I was impressed with the variety of homegrown content that they have created. The song gave me an opportunity to revisit my childhood with one of the coolest kid around, KickO. I was excited right from the beginning and I am sure that KickO’s style and our camaraderie, will be a delightful offering for our young fans. It was delightful working on the track which is for the kids and I am happy that I did something in this territory,” express Badshah.

The track lead to the rapper connecting with kids and he loved the experience. “It’s a different feeling working with kids. Their perspective of the world is beautiful,” says the Mercy singer.

“KickO is one superhero that every kid in the world wants to be like. He has swag and a car, these are also my desires that’s why it was easy for me to get into the character. I also wrote the song keeping these factors in mind,” the rapper reveals the thought process behind Go KickO.

Expressing his love for kids Badshah says, “Kids are amazing and they love you with all their heart. I have that connection with kids and I love the character KickO. The fact that he drives a car, he’s got an amazing watch and he’s protecting the city amazes me.”

We all know that Kala Chasma hitmaker did not like kids earlier until his sweet daughter was born. Fatherhood changed his equation with children. “I think I was misconstrued. When I had my daughter it was a different experience and I love kids now,” states the rapper.

The rapper is currently in a happy zone with his work making some noise. There is also some new music in making.
