MUMBAI: Singer Neeti Mohan, whose marriage to Nihar Pandya, this year, was a romantic affair, finds life and work equally blissful after her wedding. She exclaimed, “It’s seems like a dream – the way my husband and in-laws support me.”

“It’s just been three and a half months that I have been married, but they love as well as respect my music as much as I do, which is very heartening. My parents feel very happy that I am married to a person, who respects what I do and so do I. It makes me a better artist when I can balance, both, my personal and professional life. You are more alert and sensitive to people’s feelings,” further added Neeti, who recently co-sung for Aparshakti Khurana’s debut single, Kudiye Ni.

She also told that she takes suggestions from her husband, mother-in-law on her projects. Neeti, who comes from a classical background, was amazed on learning that her husband’s family is a regular at classical concerts.

She revealed, “They all love music and attend a lot of classical concerts. I was surprised when I learnt about it. In fact, I don’t get time to attend classical concerts as they are on weekends, which is the time when I am also performing.”

Well, Neeti, who had resumed work immediately after marriage, indeed is lucky to have both her husband Nihar and in-laws quite supportive towards her musical career.

Mohan, who is busy in her upcoming projects, also appeared on two episodes of T-Series Mixtape Season 2, one with Vishal Dadlani and other with Shekhar Ravjiani.

On being asked, how different was her experience on working with the music composer duo, on two separate episodes, she exclaimed, “For both episodes, the approach was different. The songs, I did with Vishal were more into classic old Bollywood space, but with Shekhar, I did more of a soft rock version. I enjoyed that I got to sing these songs differently.”

Neeti Mohan also revealed she met them, selected songs and rehearsed before jamming on the actual episodes.

Lastly, on being asked, if she would be once again featuring in a video with husband Nihar, Neeti concluded, “I would love to, but as of now it’s not ready.”

Well, Neeti, we hope there is such an announcement happening soon in the near future.
