MUMBAI: One of the famous jocks in India, RJ Devangana was recently awarded as the ‘Most Admired professional for audience engagement at the SEAC Singapore Customer Engagement Forum held at Singapore on 17 December.

We at Radioandmusic.com got in a candid conversation with her on the same.

“It is always exhilarating to be acknowledged. Awards like this give you a feeling of joy also that your work is being seen. It’s like a ticket to keep winning in life,” said an excited Devangana when asked what her experience was on receiving the award.

Devangana has always been confident about herself and her work. On asking if she expected to win this award, the RJ said, “I knew I have done something right but will I get an award for the same? Well, that is first of all not an intention but it really feels great to get it. It’s like that unexpected happiness."

Well, 2019 was big for the RJ where she received many awards for cross border engagement activity, hosting international shows in Malaysia and Dubai. She was amongst the few female Indian RJ’s to have her own radio show in Dubai, started a digital chat show with Bollywood celebs. While now she is all pepped up for her upcoming projects. “There are some interesting things in the pipeline, mostly on the live stage and digital platforms,” mentioned Devangana.
