MUMBAI: Thalapathy Vijay's 'Kutty Story' becomes a global phenomenon and turns out to be the 3rd most -viewed YouTube Video around the world on the day of release!

As of today, i.e., within 10 days from its release date, the video has already garnered almost 22 million views!

The legendary south superstar Thalapathy Vijay’s 'Kutti Kathai' or ‘Kutti Story’ from the most-awaited film of the year ‘Master’, has become a viral sensation amongst fans all over. It is the highest-viewed lyric video in the South with 9M views and 1M likes in 24 Hours setting new records.

The single titled ‘Kutti Story’ in the vocals of the star himself, with Tanglish lyrics by Arunraja Kamaraj is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

Trending on #1 on YouTube for 4 days straight, this song was released as a Valentines’ day special and has a very interesting lyric video to go with it, an industry first –ever! It has surpassed the gigantic 18M mark and garnering love from across the globe!

The composer, Anirudh Ravichander took to Twitter and wrote, "1 crore love for Thalapathy @actorvijay sir s #KuttiStory @Arunrajakamaraj thanks bro! 'Master', which is slated for release on April 9th, 2020 and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj has Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi as the hero and villain with Andrea, Malavika Mohanan, Shantanu Bhagyaraj and Arjun Das amongst the supporting cast. This movie marks the second association of Anirudh with the star post their super-hit ‘Kaththi’. The musical rights for the project has been bagged by market leader Sony Music.
