MUMBAI: After working in the music industry for almost a decade and teaming up with some of GEN Y’s most credible singers like Amit Mishra,Siddharth Mahadevan,Akasa Singh,Jonita Gandhi , Nikita Gandhi and Antara Mitra to name a few, music producers and composers Nishith Hegde and Ashwin Shriyan have now come up with their debut single ‘Ye Pal’.

The duo have tasted success composing jingles for some of the biggest brands under their in-house banner Nash Productions. Some of their notable works include jingles for brands like Mastercard, Cadbury,Renault and Van Huesen. Composing their maiden single seemed to be the natural course of action for Nishith and Ashwin and that resulted in the creation of ‘Ye Pal’.

Elaborating on the song Nishith Hegde, who has also sung the track says, “Ye Pal is a very topical song currently due to the unprecedented crisis that we are facing. The song has a very clear message that I think is relatable to everyone in the current times. It’s about living in the moment and not dwelling in the darkness and negativity that is around us today. It’s about making the most of today and finding positivity in the darkest of times”
Ashwin Shriyan adds “Most of us are so pinned down to routines that we forget who we truly are. This song is about self realisation and living life to the fullest where nothing's compromised nor lost.”
