Shalmali Kholgade sings 'What A Wonderful World' on World Environment Day

MUMBAI: Singer Shalmali Kholgade released a cover song of her singing “What A Wonderful World” on account to World Environment Day, 5th June 2020 along with Nagaland’s finest Bass Guitarist Among Jamir.

Releasing the magic in her voice on “Friday With Shalmali”, the singer touched the hearts of many people.

“This lockdown has allowed nature to rejuvenate and restore its charm, at least to some extent. It’s beautiful outside - green with clear skies and the birds sound happier - we can ensure this continues even once we’re out and about. Here’s a song, that was first recorded by Louis Armstrong, on this World Environment Day to remind you of how wonderful the world we live in is”, Shalmali wrote on her Instagram post.

Further she adds, “I’m a BIG FAN of @among_jamir on bass here for the feel with which he plays this. You’ve gotta hear him play more rhythmic stuff too, if you haven’t already. So groovy !!! I hope you enjoy this classic and remember to be respectful and grateful to our environment”.
