MUMBAI: Following the success of singles - ‘tere bina’ and ‘kya karoon?’ singer-songwriter Zaeden today released his latest song ‘dooriyan’ in his second collaboration with Artist Originals (AO), JioSaavn’s hit-breaking label for global South Asian artists. Composed and performed by Zaeden, ‘dooriyan’ articulates the feeling of melancholy whilst kindling a ray of hope for the ones who are dealing with unexpected separation from their loved ones and coming to terms with the uncertainty that the pandemic may have on their relationships.

Talking about the thought behind ‘dooriyan’, Zaeden said, “The past couple of months have been challenging in so many ways for us all and working on new music, for me, has been a great source of hope. What better way to share this feeling than to make new music that is relatable during these tough times and share it with you all.”

The two are seen matching on Bumble, the social networking platform where women make the first move. As they start dating virtually, they find themselves using Bumble's video and voice call feature and share much-needed laughs over a virtual breakfast date. The feature enables users to forge safe and meaningful virtual connections within the Bumble app without sharing any personal information, like a phone number or email address.

“Working on this song was a dream! I’ve loved Zaeden’s music for a very long time and this song is incredibly special to me. I feel like a lot of couples that are doing the long-distance thing will have this song on repeat,” said, Aashna Hegde.
