MUMBAI: Composer duo Ashwin Shriyan and Nishith Hegde after working in the music industry for almost a decade has released their first debut song “Yeh pal”.
During an exclusive interview with Radioandmusic, elaborating on the concept behind “Yeh Pal” Ashwin said it’s all about taking some decisions to get out of the mundane cycle of routine that we've all gotten used to (which we sometimes despise) and doing something that we love. One life, one chance
Adding on the same Nishith said, “‘Yeh pal’ basically is a song that anybody can relate to. It’s about breaking the stereotype of doing the things that others decide for you and pursuing what you actually love doing. Also, a very strong message of the song is to live in the moment and not let negative and unnecessary things stop your growth”.

Ashwin and Nishith have worked on jingles for brands including Mastercard, Cadbury India, Renault and Van Huesen. The duo, apart from composing jingles, have worked with several Hindi film musicians including Amit Mishra, Siddharth Mahadevan, Akasa Singh, Jonita Gandhi and Nikita Gandhi.
While our lives have been recently stripped to the minimum by a virus, the duo is soldering on work from home by writing many more songs and exercising. “Ashwin and I also have this jingle production company called Nash productions. So, the both of us keep working on new ads and jingles every now and then”, shared Nishith.
The singers are also spending their time working on their skills doing the dishes and most importantly by staying inspired.
