MUMBAI: Glasgow duo Illyus & Barrientos have joined forces with multifaceted UK artist Jinadu on new single ‘The Stranger (In My Head)’, out 24th July.

A jackin’ house floorfiller, ‘The Stranger (In My Head)’ pairs Illyus & Barrientos’ penchant for infectious grooves and fresh, funky basslines with Jinadu’s soaring vocal prowess. The track follows Illyus & Barrientos’ recent remix of the Duke Dumont smash ‘Nightcrawler’.

With stellar releases on labels including Toolroom, Defected and Mother Recordings, as well as remixes for the likes of Calvin Harris, Purple Disco Machine, Armand Van Helden, Sonny Fodera, Kylie, A-Track & Gorgon City, Illyus & Barrientos have established themselves as one of the most in-demand duos in the UK.

With influences stemming from his Anglo-African background and early classical piano training, Jinadu’s singing, songwriting and production are bringing a new flavour to modern pop music. He has released several singles and collaborated with numerous artists, including Kirk Degiorgio/As One, Jimpster, Si Begg (SI Futures), Ad Bourke and Domu to name a few.
