Piyush Mehroliyaa, a talented Bollywood playback Singer whose given vocals to songs like Shy Mora Saiyaan with Monali Thakur and has done many more songs under Meet Bros music label has recently sung for 'Hashtag Love Soniyea' with Mahira and Paras under Meet Bros MB Music label.

We at Radioandmusic spoke to Piyush about his association with the label and much more.

Your most of the songs are with Meet Bros, How was the experience working with them?

Yes my most songs are from MB music and with Meet Bros. I am so grateful to work with Meet Bros. They have given me a platform to showcase my talent and  it’s been four years that I am working with them. They have always treated me like their younger brother and give so much love and guidance. Meet Bros take my opinion whenever we work on any project, they have taught  me so many things about being a good singer and performer  and has always been my mentor (Guiding Angel) in this Industry. I want to thank them from the bottom of my heart for giving me an opportunity to work under such big banner of MB Music and trusting me.

Could you tell us on the making process of the song 'Hastag Love Soniyea'.

 It was great but totally a different experience on making of Hashtag Love, before when we used to make any song  we used to hav a proper team meeting to discuss on every pointers, but due to lockdown this was not possible so I got a call from Meet Bros telling Piyush we are working on this song and we want you to record and send it to us, so luckily I have small studio setup in my house I recorded it but this time it was little difficult to do when we do it in studio we get so many things modified because there I have a team, but doing it alone was a task.

So finally I recorded and send it to them, now we wanted to do a finally dubbing so I have to go to studio this time, my family was really scared of me going out in this pandemic situation, still when it was unlock 1, I travelled from Ulhasnagar to Andheri (Meet Bros Studio) by taking all the precautionary measure, but I when I seen my team waiting for me was really a happy moment, but we decided to follow the norms and maintain a distance and did the final song dubbing, But by god’s grace the output of the song has come out so well and we have received such a over whelming response from fans.  

Tell us something about this song Hash Tag Love?

Hash Tag Love song is really made a success and it was great experience to work for this song. I have scripted it long time back but when Meet Bros called and told me that we want to make a song for all the young generation  who are away from their loved ones and even the ones who have found someone all thanks to virtual world. So first I spoke to many of my friends discussing about their feelings and the experience and then keeping everything in mind I have come across with this beautiful song, and definitely I want to credit Meet Bros the wonderful music they created and to the lovely Jabariya Jodi of Paras and Mahira, who has wonderful chemistry and we definitely wanted someone like them to get feature in our song. Now we feel it was the best to get them. We are getting immense love from our fans on the song, this song will not only connect people In lockdown but also post lockdown whenever any couple is away from each other.

Any memorable moment that you would like to share from the experience you had during making of the song?

I can’t tell one there are many, specially travelling when I was shit scared of moving out for my dubbing.

Amid the coronavirus pandemic, how are you spending your quarantine time?

This quarantine period has taught me so many things, I am doing my Riyaz regularly before lockdown I don’t used get so much time to focus on that, I have started working out and giving lot of attention to my diet and health and being a musician I love writing and creating new song, so I making a bank of scratch songs which we will surely release later once everything is normal.

What are your upcoming projects?

I am working on few coming up songs for all my fans legally I am not allowed to take names but yes it will the exciting number for all my fans.
