MUMBAI: Singer Shilpa Rao unleashed her latest song “Aadhe Aadhe Se” song for Netlfix latest film “Raat Akeli Hai” sharing the mic with Mika Singh. Composed by Sneha Khalwankar, featuring Radhika Apte and Nawazuddin Siddiqui and penned by Raj Shekhar.

“Aadhe Aadhe Se” is about the moment when it's just the right time, how people are working in progress, how we are constantly changing and becoming a real version of ourselves and how we keep changing and becoming different versions.

Commenting about her experience of working on the song, “Sneha and I never got along well. Anurag Kashyap literally made us sit down like small girls, and said we are going to work, somehow it did not happen at that point of time. We both needed some time to come together but gradually we worked on it”. The song is called “Aadhe Aadhe Se Hum” because it is all about growing and evolving as a human.

“Raat Akeli Hai” is a 2020 Indian Hindi-language crime drama film directed by Honey Trehan. The singer shared that while they were recording the song he was going through every word, every line, every input and giving that space, so she had a blast meeting him and working with him.
