MUMBAI: K-pop stars BTS hit the stage for millions of their fans over the weekend. The group thanked technology that let them connect with fans across several countries despite restrictions due to Covid-19.
Actor John Cena was among the fans who went gaga for their 'Map of the Soul ON:E' performance. Taking to social media, Cena wrote, "My respect for this group continues to grow. Always give back, always give credit, stay humble, work hard, listen, appreciate, and acknowledge those who help you. Cheers #BTS forever a class act #WeAreNotSevenWithYou"
While RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook's performance left everyone stunned, the high-tech visual effects had also grabbed everyone's attention. Meanwhile, this ain't the first time that the 'Fast and Furious 9' star has praised the septet.
Last month, Cena had appeared on a chat show that hailed the K-Pop boy band's efforts on trying to shatter the stereotypical difficulties and uncomfortable situations. He said, 'They are catering to an audience that is living, the young people. That's why they are so popular around the world. One, they are great performers but it's the message they send, it resonates with the people.'

Furthermore, he added, 'If we can resonate through the television to you at home to come out of your pocket to give to a cause, that's work. That's purpose. That is impressive.'
