The results of Nokia Star Screen Awards, out recently, have picked out the best of the lot, some of these reserved for that gem of 2007, Taare Zameen Par, which bagged six categories in all.

According to BBC's India Development Manager Vineeta Dwivedi, both shows are cast in the 'radio magazine' format, the first such in the country. Both shows will be made available to FM stations subscribing to its current content, according to the BBC.

The show, titled 'Bari Theke Bolchi', goes on air from 14 January and will be aired from 10 pm to 11 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The methodology is simple – call into a dedicated phone number, leave a 45 second message about yourself, and the station selects one person per day from those, and all he/she has to do is to host a one hour show sitting at home.

The network will add IMF's 8 million monthly subscribers to its existing base of 17 million across Time Warner and Comcast cable systems, and DirecTV satellite service. IMF features concerts, interviews and music videos and was launched in 2005. Under terms of the deal, Universal Music Group gained a minority equity stake in Ovation.
