Srivalli unromantic version was the most unexpected video go viral”, says Digital Content Creator Shivam Arora

MUMBAI: Digital Content Creator Shivam Arora goes viral with Srivalli unromantic version.

“Srivalli unromantic version was the most unexpected video of mine to go viral”, said Shivam. With how dynamic social media is, it’s next to impossible to anticipate things like these. “As a creator, one can always hope but can’t expect”. The original song and its choreography were already a viral trend on the platform. He was late to jump on the trend, so he made his own version purely to give it a personalized twist. It was the first time the content creator properly 'sang' in a video. “I knew that it was catchy and massy once I finished recording it. But I was totally unaware of the magnitude of impact it was about to create”. The video received over 100k views in barely a few hours, and was trending for over 1.5 months with 17M+ views, 4M+ engagement, and 1.4L+ recreations. Pure insanity!

Shivam revealed that he had a close connection with some or the other form of ‘content’. Be it with scripts as a theatre performer, lyrics as a song-writer, theory as a science scholar, or literature as an author. He tried his hands at quite a few things even before he entered the industry full-time. In his first job, he started off as a screenwriter/video director for a major media publication house and was able to create some really viral video IPs. “But, as a creative person, to witness someone else perform my vision, my words, and instances heavily inspired by my own life wasn’t always easy. Especially when actors weren’t always able to do justice to the roles I envisioned”. As he came from a theatre background, he was always comfortable with performing. The content creator knew that he had what it took to perform his ideas in front of a camera. “Moreover, I always wanted to build a platform for myself where I had an audience who cared about my thoughts. So, with timing being right, stepping into content creation just felt like the right thing to do”.

Speaking about his inspiration, “Ideas are literally everywhere. It just takes a right eye and vision to spot them. One has to be a keen observer to excel in content creation. Then all it takes is adding a little bit of exaggeration, assumptions, and stereotyping to your observation, and you’re good to go”.

“There’s so much in store for my audience in the coming months! I wish I could drop some hints! But everyone who knows me well enough knows how much I enjoy keeping things under wraps. So, stick around if you have been following me for long enough. Plus, if you’re someone new following me, thank you for coming along and I hope my content continues to be worth your time, energy, and attention”, he concluded.
