MUMBAI : It's the tail end of summer and that means festivals and calendar highlights on India's live music landscape are lining up. Everything from Lollapalooza and Magnetic Fields Festival to Echoes of Earth and Locals DISTRICT have etched their dates for the upcoming edition while DGTL even has had its lineup out. New entrants like SPXCEJXM are also setting up stages across Mumbai and Bangalore.

In the lead-up to all of that, artists new and known are making strides on the release front, some of which we have highlighted below alongside other news and a Wild City mix:

Komorebi is gradually unfolding her mammoth release which is a connected combination of album, comic book and series of videos. Sandunes is also on the way to drop her album 'The Ground Beneath Her Feat', while Dhanji has already created shockwaves with 'Ruab'.

Jeevan Antony unveiled his new project backup dancer and the young and energetic JAFA made her debut. Tarun Balani has been dropping new music both as Seasonal Affected Beats and his Dharma Collective and the new label in town AMNAP Records featured Kiss Nuka, OX7GEN, Three Oscillators and more on its debut release.

There is a slew of opportunities on the horizon for artists and art professionals.

India's biggest music conference All About Music will return for a 7th edition between September 7-9 at Mumbai's Grand Hyatt Santa Cruz. The B2B conference will feature artists like Nucleya, MC Stan, Shreya Ghoshal and Spryk alongside personalities from Mass Appeal, Spotify, Youtube and more for panel discussions, networking, keynotes and workshops.
