MUMBAI: Multi-Platinum entertainer Chris Young and the RCA Nashville team have scored the most-added song at country radio this week with “Young Love & Saturday Nights,” “...a vivid love letter to summertime weekends, old trucks, dive bar bands, and crushes” (Associated Press). “Young Love & Saturday Nights” tallies a total 54 combined Billboard and Country Aircheck/Mediabase first week stations, including spins on Sirius XM’s The Highway.
Co-produced by Young with Corey Crowder and Chris DeStefano, the song leans into David Bowie’s “Rebel Rebel” signature guitar lick, making the legendary rocker a writer on the song alongside Ashley Gorley, Jesse Frasure and Josh Thompson.
Chris Young’s “Young Love & Saturday Nights” is already receiving rave reviews:
The steamy music video for “Young Love & Saturday Nights” was filmed at Old Hickory Beach in Hendersonville, Tenn., north of Nashville. Chris performs the song beachside as we witness the flirtatious fun of young love and the freedom of Saturday nights.
