MUMBAI: After releasing her love ballad Junoon actor and singer Kenisha Awasthi has released her dream song. We call it a dream because it is a collaboration with her mom and very popular singer Sapna Awasthi.The song is called Gaba No Rang Lagyo. After entertaining us with some soulful cover versions of songs like Yeh Mera Deewanapan and Jaadu Teri Nazar this will be her first Gujarati single. Speaking about the track Kenisha says “It had been a long standing dream for us to collaborate on a song together and we reckoned what occasion could be more auspicious than Navratri . Growing up Garba music holds the most special memories for us as a family. From going to play Garba to 9 days of Devi Puja .Considering our roots in folk Music and our love and passion for the same ,we wanted to make an authentic, beautiful Garba track. As a gesture of gratitude to Goddess Ambe for all her blessings,we set about making Garba No Rang Lagyo- our track - and in this endeavour our male singer Kiran Malosana and our music Producer Rajni Prajapati have been the most instrumental in bringing this song to fruition . Without them this song would not have been possible.”.
