MUMBAI : GRAMMY-nominated brothers Grey are adept at producing chart-topping pop music - a skill learned working for global stars such as Zedd, Camila Cabello, and Sofia Carson.

Banding together in 2015 and catching Skrillex’s attention with their enticing creative sensibilities (the dubstep icon asked them to remix Jack Ü’s classic “Where Are Ü Now”), Grey were quickly tapped to remix tracks by the likes of Selena Gomez, Mike Posner, Troye Sivian, and Ariana Grande.

These artistic ventures culminated in the global recognition for their work on Zedd's certified RIAA Triple-Platinum Record "The Middle” - which held the #1 spot on the US Top 40 charts for five consecutive weeks, accumulated three GRAMMY nominations, and two iHeartRadio Music Awards - and Zedd’s RIAA Quadruple Platinum Record “Starving” with singer Hailee Steinfield, which landed #5 on the US Top 40 charts.

Now, Grey is revving up towards their CONTRA EP - a 5-track collection that promises to thrill listeners with a lavish blend of deep bruising bass and grimy house stylings. Adventurous, emotional, and brimming with endless creativity, CONTRA aims to take Grey out of the shadows of peers they helped launch to stardom, and cement the duo as proper stars themselves.

Fans got their first taste of CONTRA with the EP’s first two singles, “7-DS feat. AWAY” and “RAVEN feat. Virtual Riot” - dynamic, bass-fueled tracks that are filled to the brim with crisp, expertly crafted electronic production.

Today, Grey unveils the EP’s second single “CONTRA” - a high-energy, global-inspired track that ventures into bass house and showcases Grey’s vast genre-defying skillset. Replete with intricate sound design that perfectly complements the tribal vocal sample, “CONTRA” is a hard-hitting, immersive cut that captures the duo's multicultural purview.

“CONTRA” kicks off slowly with arpeggiated chord progressions encapsulated by lush atmospheres, an ethereal backdrop overflowing with syncopated percussion elements that build with powerful, exotic vocal samples.
