YUNG SAMMY brings to India Iconic ‘DESI TRILL’ Remix with Dj Lyan and Malkit Singh out now via DESI TRILL Music

MUMBAI : Following the success of DJ LYAN’s cultural fusion game-changer “DESI TRILL'' which brought together legends from UK Rap, Desi and Dance, the remix is equally exciting. With the original featuring Malkit Singh and UK legend Chip rapping at a convenience store in London, this remix is filmed with newest DESI TRILL signee, YUNG SAMMY, and is shot in India. DESI TRILL brings us across the world, with a music video featuring YUNG SAMMY accompanied by dancers at a convenience store overseas while he gives a cool, new verse in Hindi. With a clean beat switch-up and clever wordplay, this remix is revolutionary.

YUNG SAMMY is a boundary breaking artist himself, born in Nigeria and raised in India. He uses West African and Indian influences to create a unique fusion with his music in Hindi, while distinguishing himself as one of the most unique rappers coming from India and the world. His verse here further brings forward the boundary breaking genre being created with DESI TRILL.

Speaking on the collaboration, YUNG SAMMY says "The collaboration with DESI TRILL was unexpected. I dropped the song '4x4' and it got viral on Instagram reels and that's when I came across Mr. Shabz and TY TY Smith. When they told me about their vision, I was bowled, this was something different. And now we are out with the first track which is 'DESI TRILL REMIX' with DJ LYAN, Malkit Singh, featuring me in their remix which is doing good. There are few things lined up and I can see that the family is growing. I love the platform DESI TRILL has provided for me.”

DJ LYAN continues to push the creative boundaries while paving the lane for a new genre of music allowing for cross cultural collaborations. Bringing legends from different genres and continents together, for fresh and exciting music while challenging norms. "I want people to consider me next to DJ Snake, Calvin Harris, DJ Khaled, Pharrell Williams… I hope that South Asian music can be on a level playing field and that I can be the one to do this," adds DJ LYAN
