Volaris returns to Purified Records with Skyline

MUMBAI: Returning to Purified Records with his first label release of 2024, UK-based producer Volaris delivers his driving original Skyline ahead of his performance at the imprint’s ULTRA Music Festival takeover in Miami later this month.

Tried and tested in performances around the planet, Volaris’ latest cut exudes power with deep bass and raw synth work. Incorporating a soaring vocal, this rhythmic creation takes audiences on an enthralling sonic journey throughout its duration, and showcases Volaris’ innate production abilities that have him rising at breakneck speed.

Speaking about the release, Volaris mentioned:

“I'm very excited to release with Purified again after all the support from Nora on my Aqua EP released back in 2023. Skyline is a peak-time record with a catchy melody that goes off every time I play it! I'm excited to showcase this at the upcoming Ultra Miami show with my Purified family.”

Marking his inaugural release in 2022, Volaris teamed up with Nathan Nicholson and Nightlapse for Through The Night on Armada Music. Catching the attention of industry heavyweight John Summit, he followed up with a release on his newly minted imprint, Off The Grid Records, marking the first release by a producer that was not the label boss himself. Presented to the dance music world as an ID in John Summit’s Ushuaïa set, there was immediate demand for the cut, with fans calling for its release. The then-ID would go on to become a constant in Summit’s sets, creating stand-out moments every time. Growing his catalogue at an impressive rate, his original productions include Tygar, Take Me Under, Purple Skies, I’m So Weak, Hand Of God and his Aqua EP, marking his Purified Records debut. His Spotify wrapped infographic confirms that he has accomplished more in the last 12 months than some artists are able to in a lifetime. Opening for Deadmau5 and Kaskade (Kx5) at legendary London venue Printworks for its final season, Volaris’ artistic journey is nothing short of extraordinary.

The Skyline artwork features a submerged photograph from in-between the ocean and the surface. Every minute, a garbage truck’s worth of plastic enters the ocean – a rate that could triple by 2024. To meet this crisis, the U.S. Congress officially reintroduced The Break Free From Plastic Pollution Act in October 2023. The legislation has the power to comprehensively tackle plastics production, inspire copycat legislation at the state level, introduce millions of Americans to progressive, science-backed solutions, and move the U.S. toward a strong position in the ongoing Global Plastics Treaty negotiations. The plastics crisis is a truly global issue, and its causes and consequences must be addressed comprehensively and consistently. To join this movement, add your name to urge US leaders to support the Break Free From Plastic Pollution Act.
