MUMBAI: 2x-GRAMMY-nominated music producer Steve Aoki joins forces with Bassjackers for the release of two electrifying singles: “Flashing Lights” and “Voices In My Head (feat. Teddy Bee).” Aoki has been playing “Flashing Lights” on some of the biggest stages over the last year, such as Tommorowland and Ultra Europe, and now it is finally out. Both tracks deliver high-energy, head-banging vibes perfect for the start of the summer season.
“Collaborating with Bassjackers on 'Flashing Lights' and 'Voices In My Head' has been an amazing experience,” said Steve Aoki. “I’ve been dropping 'Flashing Lights' at major festivals like Tomorrowland and Ultra Europe over the past year, and the response has been phenomenal. Both tracks are packed with high-energy vibes that are perfect for kicking off the summer. I’m thrilled to finally share these with everyone.”
Aoki is set to drop his 9th studio album on June 28th, which includes collaborations with artists such as Lil Jon, and Ne-Yo, among others. Marking a return to Steve's musical origins, this forthcoming release is a dancefloor-focused record. It will also further expand upon the HiROQUEST world that Aoki has recently introduced through his music, trading cards, and a newly released graphic novel. From the studio to the stage, Aoki's passion for pushing boundaries and exploring new sonic landscapes shines through in every track. This is the first part of a two-part project, and more details will be provided soon.
Since March, Aoki has been on his Heavenly Hell Tour, teasing new material for audiences in each city he visits. Aoki has brought along fellow Dim Mak artists, including Callie Reiff, Deorro, Nostalgix, Pickle, Cheyenne Giles, Yetep, Ookay, Henry Fong, and Wolfgang Gartner, to join him on select stops. The tour wraps with three big shows at The Criterion in Oklahoma City, The Armory in Minneapolis, and a record-release party at Brooklyn Mirage.
