MUMBAI: The much-anticipated festive anthem “Durga Puja Sobaar” is here! Composed by the acclaimed Samidh Mukherjee and directed by Somu Mitra, the song captures the essence of togetherness, joy, and unity that marks this cherished festival. With an ensemble cast led by celebrated actors- Rituparna Sengupta, Joy Sengupta, Nyra Banerjee (Appearing On Big Boss from October), Joey Debroy, Somu Mitra, Sumita Chatterjee , Soma Chatterjee, Saikat Das , Debika Chaterjee, Mala Navnit, Papia Rao, Soma Chakraborty, Himadri Das, Sandipan Chakraborty, Sudipa Chakraborty, the song embodies the festive spirit that resonates with people of all ages.

“Durga Puja Sobaar” is a cultural expression that highlights how Durga Puja transcends barriers and brings everyone together. From dancing to feasting, and from rituals to revelry, the song emphasizes the communal joy experienced by people from all walks of life during this vibrant festival. The lyrics and melodies reflect the intricate beauty of the celebration, showing that Durga Puja is truly for everyone (‘Sobar Puja’).

The music video was brought to life with elegant choreography by Pankaj Seal and stunning cinematography by Malay Mondal. The song’s powerful and uplifting melodies come alive through the voices of renowned singers: Shaan, Jojo, Samidh Mukherjee, Urvi and Paulami.

Directed by Somu Mitra with support from Associate Director Anuraag Pati, the song brings a visually striking representation of Durga Puja's vibrance.
