MUMBAI: Anyasa, one of the most renowned electronic music producers and DJs in India has released his latest single ‘Healing’, the second track to be released from his upcoming EP titled ‘Flectere’. A true standout, this track is in collaboration with Parallel Voices and Lake Silver (the alias of Grammy-nominated songwriter, Richard Walters).
Blending moving vocals with an effortlessly deep house groove, the track embodies resilience in uncertain times. Groovy basslines, jacking drums, and warm piano chords lay the foundation of the track, with emotive strings and shimmering synths elevating the overall atmosphere. As the song progresses, an acid-tinged synth line injects energy, leading into a euphoric second drop that’s both powerful and uplifting.
Sharing his thoughts on this track, Anyasa says, “Parallel Voices is one of India’s brightest young talents and when he sent me a few instrumental demos to work with I jumped at the opportunity. I picked out the ‘Healing’ instrumental, worked with the arrangement, drums and synths a bit and then sent it over to Lake Silver for writing a vocal. He sent back this incredibly uplifting vocal idea and we instantly knew it was the one! The best collaborations are the quickest ones and this was a dream to work on.”
“Last year, I shared a few demos with Anish, not knowing that one of those ideas would resonate so deeply with him. From the moment we began working on it together, the track took on a life of its own. But it wasn’t until Lake Silver’s vocals graced the composition that everything fell into place. That was the moment ‘Healing’ was truly born. It’s a seamless blend of our styles, woven together by raw emotion and pure energy. We poured our hearts into this, and we can’t wait for you to feel it too”, shares Parallel Voices.
The track is now available for listening across leading streaming platforms. ‘Healing’ is one of those rare tracks that feels just as magical during a sunset drive as it does on the dance floor. With this release, Anyasa continues to push boundaries, offering listeners a glimpse of what’s to come with the release of ‘Flectere.’
