Nearly a month later, on May 7, Jennie appeared on the popular South Korean talk show You Quiz on the Block, where she opened up about her Coachella experience. She revealed she spent an intense 16 months preparing every detail of her performance, highlighting the dedication behind the historic moment.

Speaking on the show, as reported by Soompi, Jennie described Coachella as “one of the biggest music festivals in the world,” bringing together countless artists in the desert across two weekends. Yet, despite the magnitude of the event, she admitted to feeling anxious beforehand, unsure if the massive crowd — estimated at 250,000 — would show up for her solo set.

“Even while I was on stage, I was overwhelmed by the energy,” she shared. “I don’t know why I felt so emotional, but it truly felt like I was being rewarded for all the hard work and determination that went into preparing.” Jennie confessed, “Before the performance, I kept wondering, ‘Will people come to watch?’ But when I looked out from the stage, I couldn’t see the end of the crowd.”
