In 1975, AC/DC released their debut album, High Voltage, which was only sold in Australia. They would release an addition album only in their home country before releasing their first international album, also titled High Voltage, in 1976. That album was certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America three times for selling more than three million copies. The group went on to sell countless other albums that helped them sell more than 70 million copies in the United States and more than 200 million copies worldwide. Their most popular album, Back in Black, has sold more than 50 million copies around the world and more than 22 million copies in America.

Gillette Stadium is the home of the 2014-15 National Football League Super Bowl champion New England Patriots. The venue, which originally opened in 2002 has been the home of the Patriots ever since, as well as being the home venue for the New England Revolution from Major League Soccer and the UMass Minutemen collegiate football team. The venue has also been used as a concert venue for some of the biggest acts in music and will be the site of many concerts in 2015 including AC/DC, Taylor Swift, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, and One Direction.
