MUMBAI: Rapper Drake, rock band Van Halen and singers Elton John and Sam Smith will headline the 2015 Music Midtown Festival, officials have announced.
The event will be held in Atlanta's Piedmont Park over two days starting from 18 September. The lineup also includes Lenny Kravitz, Billy Idol, Panic! At the Disco, Run the Jewels, Tove Lo, Jenny Lewis and Hozier. Additional artists will be announced closer to the festival, reports variety.com.
Last year's edition of the festival included performances by Jack White, Lorde, Eminem and Zac Brown Band, to name a few.
The festival ran from 1994 to 2005 before starting up again in 2011. The 2015 edition will see the addition of a fourth stage, accommodating more performances over the two-day festival.
Music Midtown Festival will take over Atlanta's Piedmont Park. Tickets to the two-day festival go on sale Friday, 26 June.
