MUMBAI: Playing as headliners for BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend 2015 will be English rock band- Muse and American rockers- Foo Fighters, it has been announced. Muse is scheduled to headline the first day of the two-day festival, while Foo Fighters will take to the Main Stage on the second and final day.
Apart from Muse's headlining set on Saturday, 23 May, the Main Stage will also see performances by other big artists including, Fall Out Boy, Florence and the Machine, David Guetta, 5 Seconds of Summer, The Vaccines, Charlie XCX and Ben Howard.
On the same day, acts performing on the In New Age Music We Trust Stage will be Snoop Dogg, Hozier, Rudimental, Years & Years, Jess Glynne, Slaves, Ella Eyre, Circa Waves and Mallory Knox.
Meanwhile, on the Main Stage for the second day, another set of big names will perform alongside Foo Fighters. These include Taylor Swift, Imagine Dragons, Sam Smith, Rita Ora, Olly Murs, George Ezra and Clean Bandit.
For Sunday, 24 May, the In New Music We Trust Stage will see performances from Jamie T, Alt-J, James Bay, Catfish & The Bottlemen, Lower Than Atlantis, Raury , SOAK and Jungle.
Radio 1's Big Weekend will have a live broadcast on Radio 1 and on Radio 1Xtra. Additionally, it will also be live streamed on Radio 1's official website.
