MUMBAI: Forbes has revealed that there’s a new highest paid celebrity couple. Taking the top spot from rap mogul Jay Z and his R&B/ hip-hop queen- Beyonce, is music’s current ‘it couple’- pop singer Taylor Swift and her DJ beau Calvin Harris.

A number of endorsement deals like Swift's Keds and Sony and Harris’ contracts with Sol Republic and Giorgio Armani are behind the duo’s number one rank on highest paid celebrity couples.

According to Forbes, the ‘Bad Blood’ hitmaker and her British producer boyfriend, together, raked in a whopping $146 million in the last year. Jay Z and Beyonce, who took the top spot in 2013, were close behind, earning a total of $110.5 million in 2014, largely due to the ticket sale success of the duo’s ‘On The Run’ tour.

In third place on the list is country music’s Blake Shelton and his Grammy winning wife Miranda Lambert. Over the past year, the two have had combined earnings of $57 million.

The revelation of the highest paid celebrities is part of Forbes annual Celebrity 100 list, which will be unveiled towards the end of this month. Swift and Harris, Beyonce and Jay Z, and Lambert and Shelton are the only couples in which each person has made it on the list, and are the only music pairs to do so.
