MUMBAI: Singer Kylie Minogue has sent a personal message to an ambulance volunteer who missed her concert after she was hurt in a crash at an event.
Bryony Charles, 23, should have been on duty at the 'Red Blooded Woman' singer's show at Newmarket race course on Friday.
But she is in a hospital awaiting an ankle surgery after being hit by a car during a stock race at Ipswich, Suffolk.
Her friends contacted Minogue's connections to tell of her devastation at missing the show.
The pop star sent a signed photograph and a personalised video message on disc to the hospital, reports mirror.co.uk.
Charles, who burst into tears when she got the gifts, said, "I thank Kylie and her team so much for taking the time out to do this."
"It's more than I could ever have imagined."
Her mother, Debbie, said, "The video message said something like, 'I will do extra high kicks for you'."
"For me it was extremely emotional and I think I cried more than she did."
