No reason was given for the cancellation, but she will be replaced by Irish rock band The Strypes. The band is scheduled to release its second studio album ‘Little Victories’ on 24 July via Virgin EMI Records. Meanwhile, Banks will make her acting debut in the upcoming musical drama ‘It Doesn't Have to Rhyme’.
Glastonbury kicked off on Friday, 26 June with a surprise performance by British rockers The Charlatans. Another surprise act that was announced is Grammy Award nominated British indie group Bastille. The band took to Twitter to announce its participation in the coveted festival.
