MUMBAI: Nawad of Patudi, Saif Ali Khan and the queen of Bollywood Katrina Kaif graced the stage of Sony Entertainment Televisions’ singing reality show ‘Indian Idol’ on 16 August, 2015, which also happened to be Khan’s birthday. So, it was indeed a special occasion for the Idol team. In fact, the Indian Barbie - Kaif made this occasion even more special for her co-star of ‘Phantom’ by singing a birthday song, which was a really sweet gesture.

The promotional spree did not end here as Khan also went on to strum the title track of ‘Race’ on his guitar.The birthday boy further went on to sing ‘My Dil Goes Mmm...’, ‘Sukhran Allah’ and few more hits from his movies. The real entertainment began with Kaif dancing on stage.

However, they were not the only guest. Sonakshi Sinha's doting mother- Poonam Sinha came down to meet Khan and Kaif, making it undeniably a star-studded episode.

‘Phantom’ is all set to release on 28 August, 2015. The movie is based on Hussain Zaidi's novel ‘Mumbai Avengers’, the film is about the aftermath of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks and deals with global terrorism.

The last episode of the show too was an entertaining one with two of Bollywood’s charming personalities Rishi Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan being a part of it. Their visit to this singing reality show was a part of promotional campaign for ‘All Is Well’. The last episode also had a happy ending as none of the contestants got eliminated.

The episode starring Khan and Kaif will air this weekend.
