MUMBAI: A week ago, it was announced that Skrillex, the American producer, will be in India this October for his debut tour of the country. Now, Live Viacom 18, which is responsible for bringing the Grammy winning DJ to Vh1 Supersonic Arcade, has announced ticket prices for Skrillex’s India tour on online ticketing platform MeraEvents.
The first stop of the four-city Skrillex tour is at Supernova Arena & Convention Centre, Bengaluru on 8 October, for which tickets are priced between Rs 1710 and Rs 3135. On 9 October, he will play at Hyderabad’s Gachibowli Stadium Hockey ground, and tickets for this are available from Rs 1710 onwards. Skrillex will then travel to Mumbai, where he will play at Reliance JIO Gardens, a new venue of 13,000-sq m which is joint initiative of Reliance Industries and MMRDA. The ticket prices for his Mumbai gig starts at Rs 2565, which is the same as Delhi (Huda Grounds - NCR Gurgaon), the last city of his tour.
Previously, Live Viacom stated that the ‘Bangarang’ producer will be performing at NSCI SVP Stadium, however, it seems like the event has moved to a new venue.
Skrillex, who is one half of the music duo- Jack Ü, will embark on his Asia tour on 19 September, starting with Singapore, and it will be followed by Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Korea, China, Taiwan. India will be the last leg of the Asia tour.
