MUMBAI: The All-female punk rock band from Delhi- The Vinyl Records, has grabbed themselves an opportunity to tour Sweden. The band announced its debut Europe tour on 28 October, which is a part of Red Bull Music Academy Weekender. The three city tour begins on 31 October, with their first gig in Stockholm and ends on 2 November at Gothenburg.

The band posted on its Facebook page, "We are extremely excited to announce our first ever Euro Tour. Playing the Red Bull music weekender with our heroes Sahara Hotnights and ‘uber' cool Bellaroush."

The quartet will be touring alongside Med Maria Anderson and Sahara Hotnights, including live performances with R&B Swedish duo Ansiktet, Bellaroush and Marlin Rigsby.

After landing in Stockholm, vocalist of the band Cheyyrian Bark commented, "We have reached Stockholm and we are super excited. We intend to put on a great show and have a lot of fun."

"We are hoping that we get a wonderful response and everyone has already been so nice to us. The organisers put up this tour for us and we could not be more grateful to Red Bull and ennui.BOMB," she added.

While on tour, the band will promote its latest EP ‘Whims', which was released in late 2013, after which it released the music video for the track ‘Ready Set Go', exclusively on Red Bull in July 2014. The set list for the tour will include tracks like ‘Ready Set Go', ‘Escape Trick', ‘Apocryphal', ‘The Vibe' and ‘Whims'.

The Vinyl Records will also be seen playing at the Vans New Wave Musicfest in Goa, which will be held on 15 and 16 November, 2014.
