MUMBAI: Bobbi Kristina Brown, the 22-year-old daughter of late songstress Whitney Houston, breathed her last late on Sunday, said a family representative.
"Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away on Sunday. She is finally at peace in the arms of god. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months," read a statement from the Houston family, CNN reported.
Bobbi Kristina, a TV personality and singer, was found unresponsive in a bathtub on 31 January this year. She was placed in a medically-induced coma, according to relatives.
She was treated in a hospital and then a hospice facility for nearly six months since she was found unresponsive and not breathing in the bathtub at her Roswell home -- nearly three years to the day after her mother accidentally drowned in a bathtub in Beverly Hills from a drug overdose.
Bobbi Kristina was born to Houston and singer Bobby Brown a year after they married in 1992. The mother and daughter got even closer after Houston's divorce from Brown in 2007.
Several Hollywood celebrities paid respect to Bobbi Kristina on Twitter.
