MUMBAI: Rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh has been out of the limelight for quite a while now. Not long ago, there were reports circulating stating he was in rehab for drug and alcohol abuse, and that the singer is now out of rehab. It has been confirmed to Radioandmusic.com by Yo Yo's team that the 'Blue Eyes' singer is currently out of the country.

"Yo Yo is fine and has gone out of the country a few days ago. He has gone abroad for about three months to rest. He is not working on any projects as of now, but has a few in the pipeline. You will get to know about them as and when they release," the source said.

A few months ago, the 'Sunny Sunny' singer's wife told media that he was unwell, and was asked to take complete rest for a few months. It resulted in him having to abruptly leave his talent show, 'India's Raw Star', while his place was then taken by Himesh Reshammiya.

There were also reports that Yo Yo, during a tour, was getting calls repeatedly to perform for a show, which is said to have annoyed him to so much that he hit a glass bottle on his head, and was immediately taken to hospital.  

However, the singer seemed to be doing well when the New Year rolled in, posting a picture on Facebook stating he was celebrating New Year with children from an orphanage. A few days ago, he also took to his Facebook page again to wish his fans Happy Lohri. Unfortunately, the singer was nowhere to be seen. Let us hope that he gets back soon, creating some more hits.
