MUIMBAI: Muzik247, the prominent music label in the Malayalam film industry, has released the first song video from Dulquer Salmaan starrer, 'Kammatipaadam.' Titled ‘Kaathirunna Pakshi Njan’, K has composed the song which is sung by Karthik. The lyrics are written by Anwar Ali.

The movie, which released last Friday, is being appreciated for its realistic, yet daring approach in portraying the transformation of Ernakulam and the injustice meted out to the marginalized sections of the society, especially Dalits.

Written and directed by Rajeev Ravi, 'Kammatipaadam' is an action movie starring Dulquer Salmaan with Vinayakan, Vinay Forrt and Shine Tom Chacko in significant roles. Debutant Shaun Romy plays the female lead. Suraj Venjaramoodu, Soubin Shahir, Alen Cier, Anil Nedumangad, Manikandan, P. Balachandran, Chembil Ashokan, Amalda Liz, Muthumani Somasundaran, Rasika Duggaland Manju Pathrose are also part of the cast. P. Balachandran has written the screenplay. The movie's cinematography is handled by Madhu Neelakandan whereas the editing is done by B. Ajithkumar. Muzik247 is the official music label. 'Kammatipaadam' is produced by Prem Kumar Menon under the banner of Global United Media with Collective Phase One as the production house.
