Ananthaal is back with a new video

MUMBAI: The super group ‘Ananthaal’ is launching their second music video. Their debut music video ‘Inayat’ was widely regarded as one of the Best Indie Music Videos of 2015, and helped push their debut album ‘Ananthaal’ to the top of several charts, including the Apple iTunes India Best Pop Album of 2015.

‘Ananthaal’ comprising of Clinton Cerejo, Vijay Prakash and Bianca Gomes, spent end 2015 touring India and promoting their album - across club shows and festival slots. 2016 saw Clinton composing and music directing for two Bollywood films ‘Jugni’ and ‘Te3n’, both featuring Bianca on vocals. Both musicals were very well received, with the latter featuring the legendary Amitabh Bachchan on vocals. Vijay has been busy with his playback work in the South, including recording AR Rahman's hit 'Saahasam Swaasaga Sagipo' in Telugu.

Despite their busy schedule, the band found time to get into a studio and record a music video for their next single from their self-titled debut album. The new video ‘Haal-e-Dil’ is a more intimate, performance oriented video that gets up close and personal with the core band members and features them playing the track. If you haven't seen them live, this is what an ‘Ananthaal’ show would look and sound like. Shot with an experimental approach by Divakar Mani, the focus is completely on the band, their stage presence and their musical abilities.

" Haal-E-Dil is one of our most fun songs to perform live. After our album release, it became a favorite amongst our fans, which led us to make it our second video song." - Bianca Gomes

" Haal-e-Dil is definitely one of our album's funkiest tracks. The energy was palpable at the shoot and it was so much fun doing it. Big shout out to Divakar for a uber funky video" - Clinton Cerejo.

"Currently on a holiday in Spain and Portugal. Enjoying the traditional folk, flamenco and various genres here! Very excited about the release of ' Haal-e-Dil ' our brand new video from Ananthaal!" - Vijay Prakash

The music video‘Haal-e-Dil’ is exclusively available on the Times Music channel on YouTube.
