MUMBAI: The video of ‘Poomaram’ song from the upcoming Kalidas Jayaram starrer and Abrid Shine directorial, 'Poomaram' has become the most liked Malayalam Video in YouTube. The song video was released on the YouTube channel of Muzik247 on 18 November and it has become a viral phenomenon ever since. Currently the video has got more than 75,000 likes, which is the highest number of 'likes' that a Malayalam video has got on YouTube so far. The melodious song composed and sung by Faisal Razi to the lyrics of Aashaan Babu and Dayal Singh has also crossed 5 Million views within this short span of time.

Written and directed by Abrid Shine, 'Poomaram' is the debut movie of Kalidas Jayaram as the lead actor in Malayalam cinema. Meera Jasmine and Kunchacko Boban are also playing important roles in the film. The cinematography is handled by Gnaanam whereas the editing is done by Jith Joshie. Muzik247 is the official music label. Produced by Dr. Paul Varghese and Abrid Shine under the banner of Lime Light Cinemas, 'Poomaram' is scheduled to release in February 2017.
