MUMBAI: Paritosh Tripathi, the co-host of Sony Entertainment Television’s ‘Indian Idol 9’ is known for his sense of humour and a world class style of mimicry. The best part about Paritosh is that he also likes experimenting with different kinds of costumes and everybody on the set is always entertained by his performances. It was during the episode where the talented singer KK was the guest judge that the host upped his skills to another level.

Paritosh imitated the Top 5 contestants spot on. The act was absolutely brilliant as he not only mimicked them to perfection he even looked like them to an extent that he was unrecognizable as Paritosh Tripathi.

The judges – Anu Malik, Farah Khan and Sonu Nigam were super impressed with his act and requested him to imitate them next in one of the upcoming episodes.

When asked about his experience Paritosh said, “It was an absolute pleasure to perform as all these extremely talented singers. I am part of ‘Indian Idol 9’ from the very beginning and this gave me enough time to observe the singers. But, to get into the character, I repeatedly watched their videos. This helped me get into the integrities of their personalities. It was really fun playing LV Revanth because he is very stylish and there is a particular way in which he says ‘Madam.’ It was fun shooting and I would like to thank Indian Idol 9 and every member involved for believing in me.”
