MUMBAI: India's most revered film music composer, Mithoon will be exclusively creating the global anthem for the world’s biggest guestlist festival - Guestlist4Good.

Shailendra Singh, Inceptor of Guestlist4Good states,“Mithoon as a brand is globally recognized whose music has magically touched the lives of millions. We are thrilled with this partnership as he will embrace and propagate the spirit of our entertainment-for-good movement and reinstate the need of lovein turbulent times of today through his music.Once the track is written and released, we will run a worldwide activation to ‘be a part of the biggest crowd sourced anthem in the world.’ Fans will upload a video of themselves singing the chorus of Mithoon’s WBGF anthem. A million voices will then be compiled into a crowd-sourced chorus, and given to a top world DJ to remix the anthem into EDM style, with the one million voices.”

Mithoon adds on, “This is the first time I will be composing a global anthem to unite the youth and I have always been driven by the concept of charity so this association will always be special.”

It’s an honor to India’s favorite composer, Mithoon, capture the heart and soul of this movement in his anthem.”

It is, surprisingly, not widely known that one of Mithoon’s earliest songs, Tere Bin, was translated in over 20 different languages andcatapulted Pakistani singing sensation AtifAslam into the limelight. His other track Tum Hi Ho set a new benchmark at the box office and went on to win awards in almost all the categories it was nominated for that year, including a nomination at the MTV European Music Awards. A man of very few words whose music is often described as emotive and soul stirring, Mithoonis known to have launched the careers of some of the biggest names in the Indian music industry . His soundtrack for movies like ‘The Train’, Lamhaa, Murder 2, Jism 2, Ek Villain, Traffic , Sanam Re, Sons Of Sardar 2, Baadshaho, Half Girlfriend and Shivaay created ripples at the box office. On the international front, Mithoon has also scored music for a Malaysian movie called Diva where he collaborated with Malaysian R&B singer, NingBaizura and has worked with The Vamps for the movie Shivaay.

Guestlist4Good was incepted as an intellectual property by Shailendra Singh in January 2015. The idea came as a culmination of his 32 years in entertainment, media and communications; combining his experience, skill sets and networks to rebalance the formula of creativity, commerce and cause. Two years later, in January 2017, Guestlist4Good was formally launched as India’s first and only entertainment-for-good social enterprise.

After the record-breaking success of their first two events (Hardwell in 2015 with over 1 lac fans and Martin Garrix in 2016 with over 50,000 fans), Guestlist4Good will premier its third edition on the 1-3 December 2017. T-Series4Good will open the festival on December 1, followed by international live pop music on December 2 and a lineup of the world’s biggest DJs on 3 December in conjunction with United We Are by Hardwell at DY Patil Stadium, Mumbai.

The mission for the World’s Biggest Guestlist Festival is to unite the world of music and sport to raise awareness and funds for education. The profits of the event will donated to charity partner Magic Bus, to enroll 100,000 new children on their educational programme. Magic Bus pulls children out of poverty through education, and through two previous events, Guestlist4Good has already educated 28,200 children.
