MUMBAI: Meant to Be the second international single by singer, song writer Ananya Birla that released on 28 July 2017 has been certified Gold as per the Indian Music Industry (IMI) recognised criteria for Gold & Platinum certifications. Honouring the achievement, the singing sensation was commemorated with a plaque by Universal Music Group, South Asia MD & CEO Devraj Sanyal.

Meant to Be, an electro-pop gem that focuses on heartbreak and unrequited love has been charting ever since its release. The accolades include a #2 peak on Shazam `India TOP 100’ chart, #4 on the iTunes India overall songs charts besides entering the Top 20 International charts across all prominent streaming platforms in India including Gaana, Saavn, Hungama and Wynk.

The official music video debuted at #5 on Vh1 India’s TOP 10 International Videos chart and has been viewed over 6.7 million times on Ananya’s VEVO/YouTube channel. Overseas the song has been play-listed on key streaming platforms including Spotify and Apple Music across the US, UK, Middle East and South East Asia.
