MUMBAI: Following on from the dynamic remix package, Jacob Plant unveils an acoustic version of latest single About You featuring vocals from Maxine. Showcasing the variety of different styles the track can be taken, the acoustic version shows a down tempo side to About You.

Allowing the song to focus on Maxine’s soaring vocals, About You is turned into an emotional driven melody filled with fluttering guitar strings and percussive elements. Over the course of its release, the track has received remixes from DJ Q which garnered support from BBC Radio 1Xtra’s DJ Target, PBH and Jack Shizzle, Bram Fiddler and Sound in Noise. The original version highlights Jacob Plant’s incredible production skills through it’s bubble like synths and thumping rhythm. The release followed the success of last year’s dance floor anthem Bike Engine featuring Stylo G, which was nominated for ‘Video of the Year’ at this September’s AIM awards.

As a beat making wunderkid, Jacob’s progressive attitude towards his productions has given him the ability to branch out of genre boundaries. The dynamic producer is responsible for Fly Eye Records’ biggest non Calvin Harris release, All Nightfeaturing Tujamo. Supported by the likes of Pete Tong, Zane Lowe and Danny Howard, the track reached number one on Beatport’s electro house chart.

 The original of About You features Maxine, who is signed to the management company credited for Lana Del Rey, Dua Lipa and Charlotte OC’s success. About You is taken from Jacob’s debut album set for release early 2018.
