MUMBAI: Youngest female artist to achieve this feat. Dua Lipa has made YouTube history as the youngest female artist to hit one billion views on a music video.

Dua Lipa’s self-titled debut studio album was released on 2 June 2017 and the album spawned seven singles, including hits like Be the One and New Rules which continue to dominate the Singles Charts. In India too, New Rules has been leading across charts and audio streaming sites. The artist even created a Hindi version of her song owing to the love her Indian fans gave her.

Dua Lipa also is known to make BRIT Awards history by scoring the most nominations in a single year for a female solo artist. “I picked up the phone and found out I am the youngest female artist to hit one billion views on a music video,” says Lipa.
